A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of the search. When you send us a message, we use its contents only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregated data helps maintain the service and measure page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools where applicable.
How Data Is Used
Technical data supports site operation, fault repair, traffic counts, and page improvements. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Limited Data Sharing
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Our Safeguards
An encrypted connection protects site traffic, and logs remain only as long as the purposes above require. Because there are no user accounts, this service stores no password or member profile for you.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, rights may apply to personal data a website stores about you. No comprehensive Alabama data-broker deletion or universal opt-out law was identified in the project research. Requests here are usually narrow because we retain little data: we check the contact mailbox and available logs, then remove responsive material when appropriate. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Alabama, Baldwin County, or Daphne offices remain under each custodian's control.
